When evaluating a core study, you need to ensure that you clearly state each evaluation point and contextualise it (by using specific details from the study to back it up). To evaluate, you can utilise the PERVERT method - but you don't have to. You should ensure that you can confidently comment on the following methodological issues: a) Strengths and weaknesses of the method(s) b) Sampling bias c) Validity d) Reliability e) Ethnocentrism f) Ethical considerations g) Strengths and weaknesses of the type of data collected (qualitative/quantitative/primary/secondary).
